Fiona is a qualified Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, registered and accredited by the BACP (614552). She has 10 yrs experience of working within NHS, public sector, EAP and educational settings and has worked with individuals and couples of all ages, including young people. She has experience of working with a range of issues, including clincal depression, anxiety, confidence and self esteem, personality disorder, domestic and sexual abuse, OCD, trauma, bipolar, addiction, relationships, self-harm and suicidal thoughts, bereavement, sexuality, life-limiting health issues and work-related stress.

Your work with Fiona will be time-limited and solution-focused, identifying ways of overcoming the distressing emotional and physical effects of your current thinking and behaviour patterns. You will work together, as a team, to identify achievable goals and explore with warmth, humour, compassion, respect and sensitivity, the problems you are currently experiencing and how they impact on you. Fiona's aim is always to help you help yourself, to empower you and help you take control of your life by giving you the tools to understand why you do what you do, and most importantly, what you can do about it.

Whilst trained in CBT, Fiona also integrates other approaches to tailor the work so that it best fits your needs. Rebecca Klimko

Yoga Teacher
yoga-embrace@hotmail.com

After qualifying as a traditional Hatha Yoga teacher in India, Rebecca went on to do advanced specialist Yin Yoga teacher training in London. Yin Yoga, with its deeply therapeutic nature, is her true passion. Before discovering Yin, she was a big planner, with an active mind who rarely sat still. Over the years she had gained a lot of good things from practicing more active forms of yoga, but it was long-held Yin poses that taught her the value of being fully in the present, of switching off to external stimuli for a time and letting go of stress and physical tension. She learnt to switch on to what was happening inside, to build better awareness of her body, mind and emotions, and to see how the three are so intricately connected.

With her restorative approach to yoga, she creates a safe therapeutic space where her clients can become more introspective, to enable them to listen to and observe what’s happening internally so they can learn how to develop balance, strength and harmony. Private sessions can include dynamic or slow long-held yoga postures, breathwork, meditation and deep relaxation. Ideally a combination of these are included as part of a regular practice to improve overall well-being. One-to-ones provide an opportunity for sessions to be tailored to each individual client; depending on their body type, age, physical condition, personal preferences, lifestyle and what they want to achieve from practicing yoga.

Here is what some of Rebecca’s current clients have said about her private sessions:

“I find Rebecca to be extremely intuitive and sensitive to my specific needs and together with her capability and experience, she is able to tailor
make our yoga session which she does in a very gentle and nurturing way. I feel totally relaxed and at the same time re-energised afterwards.”
Susan Anderson, Llanelli

“I enter the room feeling very stiff and usually quite stressed, but after the relaxing breathing techniques and holding the various postures and also
the calmness and serenity of the surroundings, I feel much more relaxed and calm at the end of the session and can usually float home.”
Elizabeth Spencer, Gorseinon

Qualifications and Professional development:
